Pakistani travelers are having to cancel or delay travel plans after supply chain disruptions caused issues for printing passports.

There was a shortage of lamination paper imported from France but that situation is normalizing, Mustafa Jamal Kazi, director general of Immigration & Passports said by phone from Islamabad. Some applicants may continue to face delays as the country’s passport authorities move through a backlog of applications.
