Some foreign-passport holders and wounded Palestinians crossed from Gaza into Egypt, the first such groups to exit the besieged territory since the start of the Israel-Hamas war in early October.

Footage aired on Egypt’s Extra News TV channel on Wednesday showed people disembarking from a bus, some carrying suitcases, after crossing the Rafah border point. Ambulances also entered Gaza to evacuate about 80 injured Palestinians for treatment at Egyptian medical facilities.
