Dario Amodei is the former head of safety at artificial intelligence pioneer OpenAI. These days, he’s the chief executive of Anthropic, an AI startup he co-founded that counts Amazon as a multibillion-dollar investor. And if that isn’t enough, he’s also a bona fide AI researcher whose academic papers have been cited more than 30,000 times.

On this episode of the Bloomberg Originals series Exponentially With Azeem Azhar, Amodei says that while he believes we are moving too fast in the development of AI, he sees a way to build helpful, honest and harmless AI models.
