The European Central Bank is watching the oil price for any inflationary impact from the Israel-Hamas conflict, according to President Christine Lagarde.

As central bankers “we have to look at our mission,” Lagarde told Greece’s ERT TV in comments aired Wednesday. “What impact it will have and we monitor carefully any form of conflict. What impact it can have on our economies.”
