Israel Says Navy Stops Hamas Divers From Infiltrating South

Israeli naval forces attacked Hamas divers attempting to enter one of its evacuated southern communities by sea on Tuesday, the army spokesman’s office said.

Kan TV said the divers entered the water through a tunnel that took them from land directly into the ocean in order to avoid notice. Ynet said two divers were killed. The army said searches were being carried out to ensure there were no divers who managed to slip by the security forces.
