Jordan Says Several Public Security Members Injured in Riots Near Israeli Embassy

Several members of Jordan’s Public Security Department were injured while dealing with riots in Al Rabieh area near the Israeli embassy in Amman, the department says in an emailed statement Wednesday.
A number of individuals in Al Rabieh area engaged in riots, setting fires and causing material damage during a demonstration held near the embassy, Police Spokesperson Lt. Col. Amer Sartawi said in the statement.
