Pernod’s Chivas Brothers to Build Scotch Distillery on Islay

Pernod Ricard SA’s Chivas Brothers business will produce an Islay whisky for the first time after acquiring land on the Scottish isle for a new distillery.
Chivas is the world’s second-biggest Scotch business with brands including The Glenlivet, Chivas Regal and Ballantine’s, but does not yet make an Islay whisky.
