UNC Says All Clear After Reports of Armed Person on Campus

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill told students to resume normal activities after reports of an armed and dangerous person on or near campus forced a lockdown for more than an hour.
The campus warning followed a fatal shooting on campus last month as classes were beginning for the semester that forced a lockdown for hours. A graduate student was charged with first-degree murder in the killing of an associate professor in the applied physical sciences department.
