Germany Plans to Build Wind Power Converter Platforms

Germany is likely to build offshore wind power converters in two locations on the Baltic and North Sea coasts, economy minister Robert Habeck said.

“It’s not ready to be signed yet, but I’m sure today that this converter construction will take place in Rostock,” he said at a regional conference in the east German town. The second location would be in Bremerhaven in the west.
