In a short span of time, the South Asian nation has made rapid strides in codifying LGBTQ rights, propelled by progressive court judgments that have enshrined privacy for all, decriminalized homosexuality and expanded the legal definition of a family to include same-sex couples. With each ruling, more of India’s leading companies are working to recruit and retain a diverse workforce, out-pacing efforts by peers in Asia and parts of the West.
