Amazon.com Inc. has opened offices at the former Lord & Taylor building in midtown Manhattan, more than three years after purchasing the property.

The Seattle-based e-commerce company built out offices for more than 2,000 employees at 424 Fifth Ave., unveiling the new space at a ribbon-cutting event Tuesday. Amazon boughtBloomberg Terminal the property for about $1 billion in March 2020, right as Covid hit and shuttered offices across the city.
