Finland’s economy grew at the fastest pace in a year, with public spending offsetting contracting investments and trade in the second quarter.
Gross domestic product expanded 0.6% in the quarter through June from the previous three-month period, when it increased a revised 0.3%, Statistics Finland said on Thursday, citing data adjusted for seasonal swings. A flash estimate had indicated a 0.7% growth.
