Four climate activists were arrested in Nevada, US, after they blocked the highway to Burning Man festival for over an hour, demanding that organizers ban private jets, single use plastics and unlimited power use at the event.

A group of protesters from Extinction Rebellion, Rave Revolution and Scientist Rebellion chained themselves to a trailer across the road, with signs reading ‘Burners of the world, unite!’, ‘Mother Earth needs our help’ and ‘System change’— triggering anger among festival-goers and police, and culminating with one officer driving his vehicle through the blockade, narrowly missing the activists, the Guardian reported.
