John West tuna producer Thai Union Group PCL has warned that fish will need to get pricier as seafood production becomes more sustainable.

Thai Union, the largest producer of shelf-stable tuna, said Tuesday it’s investing $200 million — equivalent to its net profit last year — in a sustainability program to 2030. The program aims for all of its farmed and wild seafood to be produced responsibly or in an improvement program.
