Something rare might be about to happen in the world of restaurant steaks and burgers.

Where price increases for “food at home” have outpaced those for “food away from home” for much of the pandemic era, that dynamic is now reversing. And as groceries become relatively cheaper compared to eating out, cost-conscious consumers might opt to stay away from restaurants barring a change in corporate strategy, according to Barclays analysts.
