Marriott Aims for Las Vegas Strip With MGM Resorts Loyalty Pact

Marriott International Inc. is gaining a major presence on the Las Vegas Strip with a deal that lets loyalty members use points for stays at MGM Resorts International properties.
The companies are launching the MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy, according to a statement Monday. By the end of the year, travelers will be able to book rooms at 17 MGM resorts in Las Vegas and elsewhere over Marriott’s website, while earning loyalty points for their stays or spending points accumulated at other Marriott properties.
