Brewer Carlsberg Signs Agreement to Sell Business in Russia

Carlsberg A/S, the Danish owner of Russia’s biggest brewery, signed an agreement to sell its operations in the country to an undisclosed buyer, more than a year after deciding to exit.

The deal is subject to regulatory approval and fulfillment of certain conditions in a number of jurisdictions, making the timing of completion uncertain, Carlsberg saidBloomberg Terminal on Friday. It didn’t provide a value for the transaction.
