Labour Says Sorry to City Donor in U-Turn Over Russian Bank Link

The Labour party has apologized to the founder of a City of London law firm for telling a newspaper it could return his donation in light of work the company had undertaken for a Russian bank.
Ian Rosenblatt feared a £16,000 ($20,380) donation would be returned to him by the UK’s main opposition party earlier this month when the Telegraph newspaper raised questions about work that RBG Holdings Plc — known simply as Rosenblatt — had carried out for the sanctioned bank VTB Capital.
