European Stocks Slip as ECB Hikes Rates and Warns on Inflation

European stocks declined slightly after the European Central Bank raised interest rates and signaled that its monetary tightening campaign isn’t over as inflation pressures persist.
The Stoxx Europe 600 Index retreated 0.1% by the close, trimming an earlier drop of as much as 0.8% as US stocks climbed with falling bond yields.
