Alcoholic shots are not on the menu when Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida visits Seoul for a landmark summit, according to South Korea’s presidential office.
The comment came after people familiar with the matter earlier told Bloomberg that South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol was preparing to share a “bomb shot” with Kishida at a casual dinner on Sunday. The concoction, a combination of beer with South Korea’s national spirit soju, is a mainstay in K-dramas and among colleagues and friends.
