Twitter Inc. reported a drop in revenue and earnings in December after many advertisers abandoned the social-media platform, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing people familiar with the matter.
Twitter reported a decline of about 40% year-over-year in both revenue and adjusted earnings for the month, according to an investor update. The company didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment from the WSJ.
