Some of Church & Dwight Inc.’s smaller, more capital-intensive brands could be potential candidates for divestitures, Chief Executive Officer Matt Farrell said.
The bulk of the company’s revenue comes from Arm & Hammer, a line of household and personal-care products ranging from laundry detergent to toothpaste and cat litter. Church & Dwight is likely to keep smaller brands that are growing at a steady clip, but could potentially look at offloading businesses that become “challenged,” Farrell said at the Consumer Analyst Group of New York conference in Boca Raton, Florida.
