Sales of some green bonds are in the stall zone.

After pushing new highs for years, US issuance of investment-grade green, social and sustainability (GSS) debt — a subset of the broader environmental, social and governance (ESG) umbrella — has dropped considerably so far in 2023, according to figures compiled by JPMorgan Chase & Co.
