European Stocks Rise to Highest Since April on Cooling Inflation

European stocks extended their gains to the highest level since the end of April on optimism from China’s economic reopening, an easing energy crisis and signs of cooling inflation.
The Stoxx Europe 600 was up 0.9% by the close in London, the highest since April 29. Technology and travel and leisure sectors led the advance, while utilities and food and beverages lagged.
