Jack Ma was spotted in Thailand this week, a rare public sighting of the Chinese billionaire who retreated from the spotlight following Beijing’s crackdown on the technology sector.

The co-founder of Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. was seen at Michelin-starred Bangkok street food restaurant Jay Fai, according to an Instagram post. The popular spot, which is known for its crab omelet, shared a photo of its chef posing with Ma on Friday.
