Stunt Driver Ken Block Killed in Snowmobile Accident

The professional rally driver and “Hoonigan” star is dead at 55. 

Ken Block was killed in a snowmobile accident Jan. 2. At the time of his death, thousands of commenters including the musician Tommy Lee, DJ Steve Aoki and Formula 1 champion Nico Rosberg left tributes on his popular Instagram page.

Ken Block, a co-founder of DC Shoes who went on to become a stunt driver known for his YouTube videos under the Hoonigan brand he co-created, died in a snowmobile accident Jan. 2. He was 55.

The Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office in Heber City, Utah, and Hoonigan confirmed the death.
