Peloton Interactive Inc., which disappointed investors last month with a lower-than-expected holiday-season forecast, began offering refurbished bikes at discounts of up to $500 below new-model prices.

Prices for the certified refurbished models will range from $1,145 to $1,995, the fitness company said Monday. That is $300 to $500 below current prices, according to the statement. The deal is available in the US and Canada.
