Thailand’s main opposition party with links to former premier Thaksin Shinawatra is seen to have the highest chance of forming the next government in a general election expected early next year, a poll showed.
Pheu Thai Party has the confidence of 73% of 1,310 people surveyed across the country, who either said it “will definitely” or has “quite a high chance” to lead, according to the poll published Sunday by the National Institute of Development Administration.
