Brazil’s Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva pledged to combine fiscal and social priorities in a long letter highlighting his main campaign promises, published just three days ahead of a tight election runoff.
The leftist former president, who’s leading opinion polls, wrote that fiscal policy must be “clear and realistic” with multi-year targets compatible with plans to address social demands and boost public investment.
