The sneaker resale market plummeted earlier this year and now faces a new threat: the downfall of Ye.
“The implosion of the Yeezy brand is going to be a material hit on the market,” said John Kernan, an analyst for Cowen who estimated that Yeezy along with Nike make up about 90% of the $4 billion sneaker resale industry. “It's gonna have to go through a real evolution without the Yeezy product.”
