Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman won’t attend an Arab League summit in Algeria following advice from his doctors.
The kingdom’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement that Prince Mohammed was told to abstain from “long-distance and nonstop travel by plane” to avoid ear pressure. Citing instructions from the Royal Court, it said on Twitter that the minister of foreign affairs will replace the crown prince in leading the Saudi delegation to the summit scheduled for Nov. 1 in Algiers.
