Austria’s government is preparing for intense talks with Abu Dhabi over OMV AG, the biggest fossil fuel company in central Europe that’s pondering a future without Russian natural gas.

Finance Minister Magnus Brunner will travel to Abu Dhabi in November as part of discussions with the company’s second-largest shareholder, he said in an interview Wednesday.
