EQT Is Exploring Sale of American Bus Operator First Transit

EQT AB is exploring a sale of First Transit, an operator of bus services in North America, according to people familiar with the matter.

The European buyout firm is working with an adviser on the potential divestment, said the people, asking not to be identified because discussions are private. The unit, which is likely to fetch less than $1 billion, could attract interest from other transport companies, the people said.
