Unions Threaten to Fight UK Austerity With Mass Strikes

Trade unions have called on millions of workers to protest against any return to austerity after Britain’s new chancellor of the Exchequer warned that “some areas of spending will need to be cut.”
Jeremy Hunt reversed several more of his predecessor’s tax cuts Monday, while limiting the UK’s energy support plan and promising that the government will lower its debt to GDP ratio.
