US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said in a video shot during the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection that she wanted to punch President Donald Trump if he showed up at the besieged Capitol.

In footage released by CNN Thursday night, Pelosi is seen in her offices as the Capitol is about to come under assault after Trump delivered a fiery speech at a rally near the White House. The mob that then marched up Capitol Hill was trying to stop both houses of Congress from certifying the Electoral College victory of Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential election.
