Brokers Fredrik Eklund and John Gomes expect to sell out their newest condo development in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village before a single unit is formally put on the market.

The pair, who lead a megateam at Douglas Elliman, anticipate that even with home sales slowing in New York, buyers will quickly snap up all 28 apartments at 64 University Place. They’re betting that word of mouth will enable them to bypass an official marketing effort for the 11-story, ground-up project.
