Tom Barrack failed to disclose key United Arab Emirates contacts during a six-hour meeting with the State Department to be considered for an ambassadorship under his friend, President Donald Trump, his interviewer testified.

Heidi Parsons, a State Department investigator, took the stand Wednesday in the Colony Capital LLC founder’s trial on charges he acted as an unregistered UAE agent, saying the purpose of the July 2017 interview was to determine whether Barrack would pose a national security risk as an ambassador.
