Exxon, CF Industries Form Partnership on Carbon Emissions

Exxon Mobil Corp. agreed to help capture and bury as much as 2 million tons a year of carbon-dioxide emissions produced by US fertilizer maker CF Industries Holdings Inc.
CF, which is investing $200 million to build a dehydration and compression unit at its facility in Donaldsonville, Louisiana, said Wednesday that Exxon will transport the carbon dioxide and store the gas in Vermilion Parish. The project is scheduled to start up in 2025.
