The power cable between Bornholm and the Swedish mainland is back online after an earlier outage caused a complete blackout on the Danish island in the Baltic Sea.

The link was reconnected at about 11:20 a.m. local time, Peter Hjalmar, an EON SE spokesman said by phone. It was taken offline in the morning after a small fault was found on the Danish side. The German energy giant is the operator of the cable.
