Compass Denies Report of Takeover Interest From Vista Equity

Compass Inc., the real estate brokerage run by Robert Reffkin, pushed back against a report that Vista Equity Partners was exploring a deal to take the company private.
“No private equity firm has contacted Compass expressing any interest in taking the company private,” Compass spokesman Chris O’Brien said in an email. “There have not been talks with private equity firms about a go-private deal.”
