Controversial German investor Lars Windhorst is seeking to cut ties to Hertha BSC Berlin following allegations he hired an Israeli spy outfit to help oust the football club’s former president.
“There is no basis for a successful economic cooperation” and his offer to support the German club financially was turned down, Windhorst said on his Facebook page on Wednesday.
