Germany unveiled its digital platform that will help the country manage a potential energy crisis, offering some details of what energy rationing will look like in the country.

The tool designed by Trading Hub Europe GmbH, Germany’s natural gas market manager, gathers real-time data on large consumers, such as the cost of a supply disruption, gas storage capacity and social relevance, according to a presentation at an event held by energy regulator BNetzA. The platform, scheduled to launch on Oct. 1, will help the watchdog rank whose supplies will be halted in an emergency.
