Dutch Insurer NN Sees Another Round of Premium Increases to Combat Inflation

Dutch insurer NN Group NV will have to raise premiums further after a price hike earlier this year as it copes with inflationary pressures, according to Chief Executive Officer David Knibbe.

“We will probably have to do another round of premium increases to deal with inflation, but we’re really trying to keep it relatively stable and not make one-off big adjustments,” Knibbe said in an interview with Bloomberg. The new hikes will be in addition to the more than 5% average increase in retail property and casualty insurance the company has levied this year, he said.
