The founders of a London financial services business with ties to sanctioned Russian billionaires have taken control of the business as they seek to curb the fallout from the war in Ukraine.

Directors Eduard Panteleev, 55, and Boris Diakonov, 45, now own a majority stake in Anna Money, a business accounts and administrative services provider they set up in 2017, according to a company statement. The pair and the firm bought all shares previously owned by an entity backed by sanctioned Russians Mikhail Fridman and Petr Aven.
