An investor group led by Apollo Global Management Inc. has agreed to acquire airfreight company Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings Inc. for around $102.50 a share, according to people familiar with the matter.
A transaction may be announced as soon as this week, assuming talks don’t fall apart at the last minute, said the people, who requested anonymity discussing a private transaction. The purchase price is around $3.2 billion on a fully diluted basis, one of the people said.
