European Stocks Dip on Fears Russia Won’t Restart Gas Supply

European stocks declined on fears that Russia may not restart gas supplies to the continent, paring the drop in the afternoon trading as robust earnings lifted US equities.
The Stoxx Europe 600 Index fell 0.2% by the close in London, snapping a three-day gaining streak but trimming losses of as much as 0.6%. Technology stocks were the best performers, with the Nasdaq 100 surging, with Netflix Inc. jumping after it reported better-than-feared earnings. Personal care and food and beverage stocks were among the top decliners.
