Trump Tried to Call a Witness After Last Jan. 6 Panel Hearing, Cheney Says

Former President Donald Trump attempted to call a witness in the Jan. 6 committee’s investigation of the attack on the US Capitol, and the person declined to answer, said panel Vice Chair Liz Cheney at the conclusion of Tuesday’s public hearing.
The witness is someone the public hasn’t seen in the hearings, and the call was alerted to the Justice Department, Cheney said.
