Lordstown Motors Corp. promoted President Edward Hightower to the additional role of chief executive officer and hired three other top managers as the company makes a push to get its electric pickup to market and develop vehicles with Taiwan’s Foxconn Technology Group.
Hightower will take over the CEO post from Daniel Ninivaggi, who was elected executive chairman, the Lordstown, Ohio-based manufacturer said in a statement Tuesday. The company also said it hired former Ford Motor Co. executive Donna Bell as its executive vice president overseeing engineering and supply chain.
