Cost of Living Crisis Hits UK University Students Hard

The rising price of things such as food, rent, gas and household goods is squeezing students’ purse strings, with one in three student living on less than £50 ($60) a month after bills, according to the survey.
“We’re hearing from students struggling to get by — who can’t afford to do their laundry and are cutting back on showers to make ends meet, a spokesperson for the NUS said.
