One in four women in the US will have an abortion by age 45. Alison Leiby is one of them. And she's been talking about it on stage, six days a week.

The writer and comedian is currently performing “Oh God, A Show About Abortion,” a 70-minute act at New York City’s Cherry Lane Theater that discusses her experience of getting an abortion, as well as feminism, sex education and her decision to be child-free. It’s a program she’s been workshopping for nearly three years, though it hit particular resonance after the US Supreme Court reversed Roe v. Wade, the landmark 1973 decision that legalized abortion nationwide.
